Warranty and repairs

At Òptica Ciutadella, we value the comfort and durability of your glasses. Therefore, if you have any issues with your purchase, we will help you resolve them as quickly as possible.

1) Warranty

What does the warranty cover?
The warranty covers manufacturing defects of the product, in accordance with current regulations and the manufacturer's or distributor's conditions.

What does the warranty NOT cover?
The warranty does not cover damage resulting from:

  • Improper use, impacts, drops, or crushing
  • Normal wear and tear from use (e.g., micro-scratches from friction, loss of shine, etc.)
  • Inadequate maintenance (use of abrasive products, incorrect cleaning, exposure to extreme heat)
  • Manipulation or repairs carried out outside Òptica Ciutadella or an authorized technical service
  • Damage to consumable accessories (if applicable), such as screws due to use, worn nose pads, etc.

How long does the warranty last?
The warranty applies for the first two years. If in doubt, contact us and we will review your case.

2) Adjustments and tune-up

In-store adjustment
If your glasses are loose, too tight, or don't fit well, we perform adjustments at our stores for:

  • Temples
  • Bridge / nose pads
  • Alignment and overall fit

Recommendation: adjustments are especially important during the first few days of use to ensure greater comfort.

3) Repairs

What types of repairs do we perform?
We can manage common repairs such as:

  • Replacement or adjustment of screws
  • Replacement of nose pads (if applicable)
  • Review of hinges and temples
  • Management with technical service for more complex repairs

Repair times
Repair times depend on the type of repair and the availability of parts. We will inform you of the estimated time before starting the process.

Repair cost

  • If the issue is covered by warranty (manufacturing defect), the process will be carried out free of charge, subject to technical service validation.
  • If it is due to wear, impact, or use, the repair may incur a cost. We will inform you before processing it.

4) How to request a warranty or repair

To process a warranty or repair, contact us by WhatsApp or email including:

  • Order number (if you bought online) or purchase details (if bought in-store)
  • Photos of the product (and the damage/issue)
  • Brief description of what happened

We will respond with the next steps and, if applicable, the address or delivery/collection procedure.

5) Care recommendations

To extend the life of your glasses:

  • Always store them in their case
  • Clean them with a microfiber cloth and appropriate product
  • Avoid leaving them in the sun inside the car or near heat sources
  • Do not rest them with the lenses face down
  • Avoid cleaning with paper or fabrics that may scratch
